THE COMPANY

DDC (Denver Documentary Channel) was founded by Jürgen Lorenz in spring 1995 in Denver, Colorado. As a key man in various German-language programs throughout the United States, Mr. Lorenz recognized the vital need for first-hand information about Europe, particularly about the ancestral countries of many American immigrants. Under his helm, DDC has produced several short reports about Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Our primary customers are local and regional cable networks in numerous American and Canadian cities, which adapt our programs for broadcast. Depending on the topic, our programs have an average of 800,000 to 1.8 million viewers.

Some of our most successful subjects include:
• Germany - 50 Years Later (1995)
• Displaced, But Not Forgotten- The Former Regions in the East (1999)
• German Culture, German Traditions (2001)
• Schnitzel and Beer - German Gemuetlichkeit from the Kitchen to the Cellar (2002)

In late-2004, DDC re-located from Denver to Los Angeles, where our enthusiastic crew are hard at work in our new hi-tech studios in the movie and media capital of America!
